London

Okey, I know it’s been a while since I was in London, but I haven’t had time to get around to this until now.. I promise I will do better when I go to Thailand in a few weeks =)

DAY 1 – 07.11.11

We started out heading to Picadilly Circus right after we check in to the hostel, totally famished, where we ended up eating at TGI Fridays. Good food and a fun weiter, Ed..

After a good meal we headed out to see some more of London. We walked around Picadilly, Soho & Chinatown shoping some christmas gifts before I went crazy in the Disney store at Oxfors street

After some relaxation at the hostel we were ready to watch a musical. Wicked. To those of you who haven’t seen it, I truly recommend it (and just to have said to Rachel Tucked does the best Elphaba)

DAY 2 – 08.11.11

Started the day early by heading to Big Ben and ended up walking through a park with loads of squirrels and different birds, like a pelican, on our way to Buckingham Palace.

After visiting the palace we headed to see The Tower of London, which was absolutely amazing. And the guide was fun =)

“Situated in the heart of London next to the River Thames, the Tower of London is one of the greatest medieval castles in England.

Famous for its Yeoman Warders (Beefeaters), ravens, the Crown Jewels and its long and bloody history of imprisonment and executions. The castle has also been used as a royal residence, the Mint, the Royal Zoo, a public records office and the Royal Observatory as well as containing barracks for its own garrison and storage for munitions.

The castle also contains the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers’ Museum, for which there is an additional small charge.”

After looking around Covent Garden we took a trip to Ripley’s Believe it of Not; London & a trip into a 4 story m&m building. Amazingly big m&m building, with insanely much chocolat!

DAY 3 – 09.11.11

After dropping of the luggage at Victoria Station we headed to Westminister to see Churchill’s War Rooms. After a trip down history lane we ate pizza by Trefelga Square before taking a trip on the Thames from Westminister past London Bridge and all the way to Greenwich and back. Trying to sqeez in as much sightseeing as possible we hurried over to Madam Tussaud to get some pictures with the celebrities there =P

 Finishing soon ~
